"The Florence Rhododendron Festival" officially begins with the Friday evening performance of the Rhody Pageant. The pageant has, as in years past, an outstanding display of talent from local young ladies vying for the crown of "Queen Rhododendra." Special events are planned for the weekend including parades, car show, arts and craft fair, 5K run, and much much more.
