BRING Gallery proudly presents the work of artist John Paul Gardner. Working with large scale drawings and living grass, Gardner creates an installation landscape that explores natural and artificial forms from a human perspective. By examining, reinterpreting and questioning relationships between our natural and built environments, Gardner's installations challenge the lines between interior and exterior space. The work touches on themes of human control, idealized beauty and the relationship between architecture and the natural world, ultimately striving to answer: what is nature?
