The event is a unique educational celebration for both children and adults that teaches environmental lessons through the creative arts. The Arts in Nature Festival is a waste-free event. Participants, attendees and volunteers are encouraged (but not required) to bring their own reusable cups and plates to enjoy festival food and beverages. Festival attendees are encouraged to carpool, bus, bicycle, walk or run to the event. All festival marketing materials are printed on tree-free non-wood paper made from the kenaf plant.
Features: Visual artists and fine crafters, music (jazz, folk, classical, choral, improvisational and wandering musicians), dance and theatre, environmental and wildlife education, kids/family activities and hands-on art projects.
