8th Northwest Biennial

The 8th Northwest Biennial provides a strong assessment of the region?s recent art production. The juried show presents and appraises a broad spectrum of recent artistic activities, including artist-led projects; successful shows in commercial galleries, alternative spaces, and museums; and other publications, performances, and installations. Artists working in a broad variety of media are considered. Individual artists are invited to participate in the exhibition through a collaborative jury by David Kiehl, Curator of Prints at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, and Rock Hushka, Curator of Contemporary and Northwest Art at Tacoma Art Museum.
