Led by renowned teaching artist and historian Walter Lieberman, this informative and lively 10-presentation series chronicle the history of glassmaking from ancient Egypt and the Middle East to today's Studio Glass movement in the Pacific Northwest. Immediately following each lecture, visitors are invited to watch the Hot Shop Team demonstrate the techniques and styles discussed in the lectures while Lieberman continues his commentary. Lectures are at 2 pm in the Museum theater, and the corresponding Hot Shop demonstrations are from 3 to 5pm.
