Tacoma Art Museum
Tacoma Art Museum and Asia Pacific Cultural Center present Tanabata, a Japanese festival that takes place on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. The celebration traditionally features dancing, poetry, and writing wishing on paper that are then hung on trees. The event features Kabuki theater, print-making and origami as well as other activities. The program is free with museum admission.
