Sparkle Then Fade features artists who employ highly reflective materials such as mirrors, Mylar, resin, and plastics to generate powerful metaphors for the complexities of life. Artists engage the fleeting nature of time, beauty, and permanence to offer provocative commentary on celebrity and power. Nationally recognized artists such as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, and Alice Wheeler will be on view with many others, as well as Northwest artists. This exhibition is organized by Tacoma Art Museum
