Dante Marioni: Form, Color, Pattern is a mid-career survey comprising thirty exceptional glass works crafted over the past two decades by esteemed artist, Dante Marioni. Marioni studied with Lino Tagliapietra and is known for his mastery of Venetian techniques to create graceful glass forms in bold colors and with classic lines. In his hands, the traditional vessel is transformed into modern sculpture with shape and surface simultaneously minimalist and delicately complex. Included in the exhibition are pieces from the artist?s personal collection as well as one multi-vessel wall display made specifically for this exhibition.
