Joseph Rossano?s Mirrored Murrelets highlights the environmental impact of a changing environment on the Marbled Murrelet, a small sea bird that nests primarily in the old-growth forests of the Pacific Northwest. The installation comprises 275 mirrored glass birds, created in the Museum of Glass Hot Shop in January, 2008, that ?float? just above the surface of the Museum?s mid-level reflecting pool.
